Thollbeck environmental projects

  • We help companies move from selective collection of only recyclable plastics to comprehensive collection of all poorly disposed plastics. included Not recyclable.
How does it work?
Plastic credits provide financial support for the collection and treatment of poorly disposed of, non-recyclable, post-consumer plastic.
It is certified according to the Ocean Boand Plastic Protocol and is checked by an independent control body (Control Union).
Funding enables community collection networks and infrastructure creation to handle non-recyclable plastic.
The program creates new jobs for disadvantaged people, runs awareness campaigns and strengthens communities through cleaner villages and sustainable income

What can we do with non-recyclable plastic?

In our Material Recovery Facility (MRF), plastic waste is sorted into recyclable and non-recyclable materials.
Recycled material is sent to recyclers and Brads, while non-recyclable material is processed in-house.
We make plastic sheets and building materials that are sent back to communities in need to repair their homes.

TONTOTON is a company committed to reducing plastic pollution in coastal areas by implementing a responsible collection system for all types of poorly disposed plastic as part of the ONE+ONE approach.
Our community-based solution aims to leave no one and nothing behind in the fight against plastic waste.
We have developed a reliable and controlled system that meets international standards and is checked by external control bodies. Our program is designed to empower and engage the informal waste sector and its local communities, with a particular focus on women's participation.
Our material recovery facility in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, processes large volumes of both recyclable and non-recyclable plastic waste, promoting a circular economy and creating a new market for orphan plastics.
By upcycling, recycling or converting plastic waste into energy, we are able to effectively manage and treat all types of plastic waste.
With your support, we can reduce poverty, create more sustainable cities and communities, create jobs and promote social justice. Our initiative also aims to raise awareness of non-recyclable plastic and encourage companies to take responsibility for their actions.
